Hokianga vehicle ferry

Raweneferry

The Hokianga ferry, between Rāwene and Kohukohu, is operated on behalf of the Far North District Council by Northland Ferries.

Until 30 June 2023 all passengers travel for half price. The discount does not include vehicles. For more details go to the 'Costs' tab below.

From 1 July 2023 Community Service Card holders only will travel half price permanently.

You can buy tickets on board the ferry. Pay in cash or use the on-board EFTPOS machine which accepts EFTPOS cards and Visa or Mastercard credit cards.
