We maintain a range of facilities for Far North residents and visitors, including playgrounds, sports fields, swimming pools, walkways and reserves. We also own and maintain toilets, wharves and pontoons, cemeteries, libraries, community halls and housing for the elderly.

VIDEO - New Kiwis put down roots in Te Tai Tokerau

New citizens making Te Tai Tokerau their home were officially welcomed by Deputy Mayor Kopehu Chicky Rudkin last week. And in the spirit of new beginnings, each new kiwi was also gifted a native seedling grown by prisoners from Ngāwha Prison, who are training in basic horticulture.
