Purdy Street temporary road closure

22 April 2024

A section of Purdy Street in Kaikohe will be closed on Tuesday 23 April while contractors install signs and two small traffic islands at the intersection of State Highway 12.

The intersection will be closed between 8am and 5pm, with traffic management in place. If the work cannot be carried out due to poor weather, it will be rescheduled.

Residents have been notified via a letter drop advising that contractors will ensure access is available to properties at all times. If access to properties is restricted, the affected residents will be contacted directly.

Motorists and residents are asked to plan and allow extra time for their journey.
